How to Use

Step 1: Enter Values

  • The "Number of Shackles" is the number of shackles in the anchor chain.
  • The "Ship's LOA" is the length overall of the ship in meters.

Step 2: Click Calculate

  • Click the "Calculate" button to determine the swing radius.

Example:

Input 5 shackles and a ship's LOA of 200 meters, the calculated swinging radius is approximately 0.182 Nautical Miles.
